tj_dragonblade: (Konzen Bored)
Soo, what did I accomplish in my five days?

Uhm.

The aborted camping trip, which was fun despite itself. Gained several lovely scenery photos, which will likely be uploaded later. I also have quite a bit more color in my face, arms and certain portions of my upper body from bits of days spent on the back deck in the sunshine.

My hair's been dyed for the first time in about six years; it's currently dark auburn rather than the dark brunette that it usually is. Missed a bit in the roots at the front; it blends well enough but I'll probably touch it up in a couple of weeks. It purports to be a light coppery-red, but with hair this dark, I'm sure it would take many many applications to lighten it that far. *shrugs* Eh. 'Tis good enough.

The hair has also been hacked back to kid-Gojyo style, as what length it had gained was mostly split ends that went a little spastic after the dye job. ^_^;

I got some emails/comments answered, but not the entire list. I'll have to keep plugging away at those. No fic work was done, either, unless you count the one line that got written in the hour spent staring at the hand-written fic-in-progress that went with me on the camping trip. ^_^;

Currently I'm patiently coaxing a very finicky download out of limewire. Sonata Arctica's 'White Pearl, Black Ocean'. Simply because what I've heard of the band's sound appeals, and that particular title resonates with me in a major way. *eyes download* 'Bout two hours in, now, and only at 29%. 'Waiting on Busy Hosts' again. *sigh* I do hope it's worth the trouble.

Back to the grind tomorrow. At least it's only for three days. 'Course, they'll be an insanely busy three days, but...eh. Such is life.

===Edit===
*sigh* Five hours in, and my connection seems to have freaked out. I'm dead at 33%. Guess I'll have to come back and try again tomorrow. And the preview is so promising, too... T_T

Okay. This is my sixth Fourth of July up here. Currently it's ten o'clock at night. The sun is still blazing relatively high and bright as you please. And yet, I still hear fireworks going off. Not that they can really be seen, y'know, but tradition must be upheld. *snrk*

And it's like this every year.

*continues laughing quietly to self*
