I am *excited*! So excited, I'm jittering! Or maybe that's just residual from the coffee. ^_^ Also slightly giddy from lingering Sharpie fumes, but that's beside the point.

Excited! ^_^ My dear friend Hemlock Inyx is coming all the way up to No Man's Land for a visit! I get to meet her in person! Granted, she won't see the very best of Alaska since summer will be past by the time she comes; but still! (twirls happily and plunks back down at the desk) And she's bringing her disks of Reload! Eeeee! The chance to drive my poor husband absolutely bonkers with yaoi fangirly-ness...oops. He may end up finding out what I've 'done' to Saiyuki after all...(shakes head) I'm afraid he'll just have to deal. (bounces) And maybe she and I can get some more collaborations going! Wufei's Revenge is so long overdue, after all...

(grins) So, on that note: she had the idea that we could solicit challenges, stuff we could attempt together with all ten muses and the both of us crammed onto one comp...^_^ Anyone have any requests? Challenges? Suggestions?

We've both written GW, we're both hooked on Saiyuki, we've both read Demon Diary and we've had discussions in the past about ficcing for FAKE; so I'd wager any of those fandoms would be fair game.

And, if you want to see the sorts of things we tend to turn out together:

I'll Never Ask Again and Peeping Tom Techie are co-writing collaborations, and The Altar of Shinigami was based on one of our RPs.

Have fun on that visit, meeting another writer is great! sychogrl and i had that fun at AnimeCentral. Luckily we didn't break anyone else's brains, but we got some priceless wisecracks, falling over laughing moments and downright fun during it.

Inyx-sama has been a great online friend for like...three years now and we've talked about meeting up at yaoi-con or somesuch but never have made it so now we're just doing it this way and I'm sure you *really* wanted to know all this and I'm rambling without pause but the excitement just won't quite die away but I *do* need to breathe now so I guess I should stop--

Gushing is allowed. Sycho and i pretty much glomped each other on first meeting. Which is interesting between two petite women(we're both under 5'4"...*laughs* Particularly one dressed as Kenren Taisho and the other as Goku w/Nyoi-bo.

We talked for a few years before that, and fell into shounen-ai writing at about the same time about a year ago. I got HER into Saiyuki. *grins evilly and runs off*

(grins) I did see the pic back in your LJ of the costume, though. Very nice.

Lucky me...I'm just about perfect Hakkai-height (about a centimeter under). Though if I attempted to cosplay I'd bear a much stronger resemblence to the Hakkai-imposter, I'm afraid... ^_^'

Why else do you think i used the Chibi!Kenren costume design from Minekura's pen herself? (besides it being easier to make, than the full out gunmetal coloring)

I even had a sake jug. ^_^ it was too much fun, though i wish the character wasn't so obscure, we had like maybe..5 people in the whole place recognize my costume. Other than that, i was just a girl in with some kickass boots, in semi-miliary garb swaggering around with a candy ciggy in her mouth and a chakra in the middle of her forehead.




That's everyone but our Tenpou, who managed to sneak out of camera's range--and stay away from it. ^_^

(sighs) I *do* wish I lived closer to civilization. The con atmosphere is so much fun...I'm seriously itching to go to one. Cosplay or no cosplay. (wonders absently how much trouble could be gotten into by dressing as the manga version of Kanzeon Bosatsu)(stuffs hands in empty pockets regretfully and wanders off)

And I was up until 4am in the morning, went to two bars and went topless at *two* different guys places and I *still* managed, somehow, not to get laid. >_<; I think I need to find a more willing partner...*sighs*

(Blinks owlishly as a swirling vortex opens up and Heero falls out, thankfully to land on the only soft thing in the apartment, a large bean bag. Unfortuntatly, Gojyo lands on him a few seconds later.)

(glances back towards the Bishy pile, only to see that Hakkai has made off with the sexy red head, leaving a rather pissed off Heero 'still' laying on the floor)

Hehe, well thanks for the thought TJ, but Hakkai got to him first...but I got to hook up with a pretty sexy sailor the other night anyway. I think things with Will are pretty much over, unless he does something on his part. I mean, really, can a guy at least 'act' a little interested?

(sighs, and goes to scrap up Heero and put him to work on the CD Burner problem.)
