Still, when you think about it, Saiyuki seems to really be a show both males and females can enjoy. The show, proper. I dunno... the non-show art, well... heh. Definitely geared toward the ladies. ^_~

I suppose there are guys who swing for Minekura's sexy-boy artwork... but on the balance, you always run into males like the ones in my anime club, who referred to the show as 'four pretty boys and no plot'.

My husband has seen some of my Saiyuki pic collection; his most prevalent response was that they looked like 'backstreet boy-band crap'. And that putting them in chains is 'perverted'. And an indignant remark that Sanzo isn't the type of person to be posing for sexy pics.

Aww, he's no fun! Besides, I'll bet if you get right down to it, Sanzo's probably the biggest camera-whore of any of the boys. With those looks? He's hot and he knows it. At any rate, he certainly wasn't hiding when he posed for Minekura... wink wink. ^_~

No, he's gotta be some kind of camera whore. If any of them don't belong in sexy poses, I'd have to say it's Hakkai. Square he isn't, but I don't picture him well in chains. Maybe it's just me.

The chains... well, I have to say your hubby's sort of right about the chains. But I prefer the all-purpose term 'kinky', myself.
