Notes: There's this photo (not worksafe) that I've been fond of for years, and at some point in the past several months I started thinking I could probably convert it to a YamaSai drawing if I put my mind to it. So I finally did. Put the basic lines down on paper somewhere in October or November and picked it up again in January. This is where I should note that I haven't drawn anything since like 2004. It's safe to say that much as I love hands, they are still not my favorite thing to draw (thank you, Yamato, for having such detail-obscuring hair ^_^). There are flaws in this, I'm very aware, but I won't point them out in hopes that not drawing attention to them will help them escape notice. On the other hand, I'm quite pleased with Sai's arm, and Yamato's hair was way more fun to fill in than it has any right to be. ^_^ I still don't think they exactly look like themselves, but all the same I'm quite satisfied with this overall.

^_~ Thank you.

On a side note - *points at your icon* - That's why that scene with November 11 sitting there naked and grinning seemed familiar! I knew I'd seen it somewhere before...

Continuing the tangent: well, if you've gotten that far, you must be (nearly?) finished by now, so. I must inquire: do you watch Fringe as well?

(why yes, I might be trying to rustle up readers for a x-over fic. ^_^; )

*headdesk*, because I could've sworn I'd left a 'count me interested' comment on your DW when you mentioned the crossover fic, but I have checked and quite clearly I did not.

But. Yes, I've pretty much finished both DtB series - I think the only eps I haven't seen are three out of those four that seem to be detailing what happened to Hei and Yin in between the first and second series. Don't know that it all sank in as deep as it feels like it should've, but I like it a lot nonetheless.

Fringe I'm passingly familiar with - enough to put a name and face to Olivia and Peter, and a face to Peter's dad, and to know that they apparently deal quite often with a parallel universe and at least one big spoilery thing about Peter regarding that universe (I think) (and I'm trying to be vague because I don't know what season it was that I was seeing or what season they're on now and/or whether or not the seasons are staggered between US/Canadian broadcasting). And I think there's somebody in that parallel plane who's an old rival/colleague(?) of Peter's dad and who's been focused on Olivia from what I remember, to the end of merging both planes? Or...something. >_< Yeah, okay, so I'm not exactly invested in or up to speed on it, no, but. That's not enough of a deterrent to stop me from reading whatever you're planning, because from what I have managed to pick up it seems like Fringe and DtB could mesh rather well and I like your writing regardless. So.

Yes, count me interested. ^_^

Cool! :)

And no worries - I am planning to write a "intro to Fringe for the purposes of this fic" (and one for DtB as well) to make sure that everyone is on the same page without having to watch like 4 seasons of shows. ^_^;

agh. i still love how involved they are, how intent their feelings, how in to it they look. whatever you want to call it, turned out to be a great pic regardless of 2004 rustiness.

I'm really pleased with their deep-in-the-moment-ness and sense of emotion, yes - however I managed to do it. *Hugs* Your opinion means a lot, so extra-thank-you again. ^__^
