Comment and I'll give you a letter; then you have to list ten things you really, really like that begin with that letter. Afterward, post this in your journal and give out some letters of your own.
Zalia gave me 'I'. So:
1. Inter-species relations. Y'know, dragon/kami, hanyou/youkai, non-youkai-ceature-born-of-the-earth/human, dragon/youkai, Cardassian/human, vampires and humans, pixies and leprechauns, elves and hobbits and dwarves, oh my! It's all good. ^_^
2. Imagination - life would be utterly dull without it. Same for insanity, of the fictional and/or fannish-crack variety. ^_^
3. Iruka-sensei - sure, he's 'just' a supporting character in the densely-populated Naruto cast, but I like the role he fills and there's a lot of good qualities about him, a lot of potential waiting to be developed in fanfic.
4. Introversion. I like being able to entertain and amuse myself, to exist happily with myself in my own mind. I don't feel any need to pursue all the standardly-accepted rites of the Social Butterfly. It's just...it strikes me as a huge waste of time that could be better spent elsewhere. Not for me.
5. Intelligence. It tends to be one of those things high up on the list of what sets off my 'I like this character' radar. Especially when there's glasses involved.
6. iPod - again, life would be utterly dull without it. I can't imagine how it was I ever go along without having my whole music collection portable enough to take with me wherever I choose.
7. Internet - does this really need explaining? ^_^;
8. Ice cream. Sweet and cold and creamy. Not great for the whole diet thing, though. Rocky road and Oreo flavors are favorites; I'm also really fond of toasted coconut sesame brittle from Haagen Dazs. Good stuff.
9. Ishida Akira. I suppose my love for his voice was born of the fact that I became familiar with him as two of my absolute favorite characters ever (Hakkai and Tenpou), and then I've gone and become thoroughly enamoured with another of his roles (Gaara), but however it happened, count me a Fan. His voice. Oh, god, his voice. His voice is like...like sex. For the ears. OMG, I love his voice. It makes me melt when it's soft-and-warm-and-sweet, shiver when it's soft-and-cold-and-deadly, and a little of both when he laughs. Honestly? If he put out a CD like...reading the phone book, or reading the dictionary? I'd probably buy it. ^_^;; Did he ever put out one of those sheep-counting CDs, I wonder...?
10. Iridescent - or, maybe, iridescence since these're supposed to be nouns. But iridescent is one of my favorite...I guess it's not so much a color in its own right as it is a color effect. Whatever. I like it.

Zalia gave me 'R'. It's taken me all weekend to come up with five that I'm really enthusiastic about, and I had to stretch well beyond anime and the usual fandoms to do it. ^_^; But I did it!
1. Rock Lee - HOW CAN YOU NOT LIKE ROCK LEE? Er. Very subjective declaration, there, but. I can't help but love him. He's such a...a...a huge DORK, to begin with, in the most loveable way. Green jumpsuits and orange legwarmers and bowl-cut ftw, yo. ^_^; He's so Earnest and Dedicated and he gives 120% to whatever he does; he's got his nindo and his principles and his integrity and his honor and he's a romantic at heart; he tries so hard and he's made himself a truly remarkable person and yet he's still so determined to prove himself; he's humble and modest and sometimes you just want to shake him so hard and make him see how much of a Splendid Ninja and a wonderful person he's already become. Oh, Lee. ♥
2. Rodney McKay - SGA's resident genius is just... gah. Snarky and sarcastic, spastic and over-caffeinated, brilliant and egotistical to boot, and what makes that all somehow endearing is that he's an utter weenie despite it all. ^_^ It's hard to articulate what I love about Rodney, but he's just a very entertaining, enjoyable character.
3. Remy LeBeau - Gambit was the first real favorite I cited in XMen; while he didn't stay the favorite, I'm still terribly fond of him. In a lot of ways, he reminds me of Gojyo. Beyond the red hair/red eyes, staff-wielding chain-smoking ladies' man thing. ^_^; They're both good men, with a good heart and something of a kicked-puppy complex behind the charm and bravado.
4. Raenef V - Awww, Raenef. ♥ Aside from the fact that he's completely adorable, I love his radiant-and-perky personality, his innocence and his naievety and how utterly he turns Eclipse's expectations on their head about what a proper demon lord should be. ^_^
5. R2-D2. He's totally the Hakuryuu of droids. ^_^ Seriously. He's integral to the plot but supporting to the principal characters; he has a knack for being able to save the day in a little way, and he's a downright snarky little fucker who can get away with it on the basis that no one (save Threepio) can really understand what he's saying. XD
