First, you need to understand. Legos were a big part of my youth and thus have all due nostalgia currently attached.

So this?

Pure glee.

Legos were a big part of my ... twenties, for some reason...

Wow. I had a kid telling me about how cool Avatar the last Airbender is, and usually I would mostly dimiss stuff like that as a kids show, but he totally convinced me to watch it. "Dude, seriously, I know I'm a kid, but it's GOOD." And it did sound pretty good. I haven't watch it yet, though.

Avatar is...unique, for certain. I didn't fall for it instantly when it first aired; I thought the concept was interesting but I also dismissed it as 'aimed for kids'. By now, though - while it's still marketed primarily as kids' stuff, it could totally hold its own on the anime market. There's a lot of quality fantasy vision in it, and characterization, and plot, and...well, yeah. It's just like that kid said - it's GOOD.

ah, this is waaay too cool!!!
I've always loved lego, it has something to do with the fact that i hated dolls, and so i moved onto the thing most furtherest away from anything doll-like.

thanks for the link!

The thing I love about Legos is that even though they come in pre-designed sets, you can build anything you want out of them. Good excercise for the imagination. ^_^

Lego were also, like, one third of my childhood.. (along side TMNT and making stuff out of other stuff)

as for your link? EEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

TMNT! Oh, goodness, YES. ^_^ My brother and I were all over the Turtles. We were our own little two-person rabid fandom. Even if I was in junior high. ^_^;

Eeee! *wants*

Also, do you think they'll make an Appa?

I want an Appa.

An awesome accurate Appa with articulated limbs and a removable saddle big enough to put the whole party in and fly them around my living room making Appa noises, "Myrrrnggh...." Yes. That is what I want.

Also Toph, but I understand that this is the first season set so I will be more patient. First season requires Appa. And Iroh. *nods*

^_^ Let us hope they'll make an Appa.

It would be pretty cool if they'd make some more. I somehow have the impression that these have been around for a while, so there's no telling really if there'd be plans for additional sets based on later seasons. But we definitely need Toph and Iroh. And Azula and her girls.

Little Lego-Momo, though - he makes me squee. ^_^

LMAO hehehe, Soli and I bought the Airbender temple and Fire Nation battle ship for our little sister last year for christmas. she loved them. i even went to the fabric store with the intention of buying materials to make a stuffed animal Appa of appropriate size to go with the legos, but for some reason i brought no references and everything i bought except the white fur was the wrong color! so i never got around to making Appa. But we have an Old Man lego head we use with a Random Fire Nation Grunt lego body to be Iroh. XD the fire nation ship is awesome and even has a dungeon! possibly the best part is that the box has an avatar comic--in French--on it that is ridiculously corny, campy, and cute.

legos rock. alas, soli and i were too poor for them as children, aka our parents didnt want to buy us 1000+ tiny pieces of objects we'd play with forever and refuse to clean up, but we made up for it as adults by buying ourselves a lot of Harry Potter legos and Airbender ones for our sis. i still wAnT the lego Hogwarts!!! with snape lego! lol

There's something about Legos that just...yeah. I mean, it's cool that they come in all these neat little sets and show you how to build what's on the box, but...get enough of them, and you can build anything you want out of 'em. It's fabulous.

And yeah, they're really branching out in recent years. My kid wants the Star Wars Legos, but he hasn't graduated from the big-sized blocks just yet. Me, though - one of the Lego competitors has several PotC sets out, and I've been tempted. ^_^;

Legos!Momo... too cute! Are these available in stores? 'Cuz I haven't seen them before. I never had legos as a child, but my kids did. I can still feel the pain of stepping on a tiny lego, in a dark hallway, in the middle of the night. ouch! Cussing, kicking at it and swearing I was going to throw them all away! (the legos, not the kids... maybe)

*snrk*

Yeah. They're insidious little things, lurking out of sight in the pile of the carpet until you step just right and they spring their sneak attack. Or like you said, ambushing you in the dark. I've been there.

And I don't honestly know if these are available in stores; I personally haven't seen them but I'm also relatively removed from civilization. They could well be on shelves down in the lower 48. I also don't know if these are something new or if they were out a couple years ago, in which case they might not be so easy to find anymore.

But yeah. Lego-Momo is all kinds of squee-worthy. ^_^
