tj_dragonblade...So. In having cast aside my self respect and devoted a good couple hours of my weekend to the long-long peripheral-to-fandom quiz over at That One Very Popular Journal, I 'earned' all five of the Big Speshul Sekrit Hot Downloadable Prizes.
As it turns out? They're the five songs off the second Gunlock Vocal Album.
Which I got, in its entirety, courtesy of one of the kind users at the saiyuki_media comm two weeks ago.
So if you were unable to participate or had more important ways to spend your time, I can hook you up. And if you can tell me what songs I used as a writing soundtrack for my Dirty Dancing fic, I'll throw in the mini-drama/omake tracks too! Deadline is two hours from now. And if enough of you don't participate, then nobody gets anything.

The files still have Ripped by "user name" on it from the information section that wasn't deleted. Then, who wouldn't be angry for getting said same file again, when they were already shared in the first place. Unless said computer decided to crash.

Date: 2007-07-10 04:15 pm (UTC)I dangle an unknown prize above your head, and feel I have the complete rights to do such a thing because I share scans to the fandom, and I then mock you(just one person - not everbody who did the same thing) for being a round-ear when you mention you don't have the time to do so.
Drama ensues, I unfriend/screen people, and soak in the attention I get from my wellwishers who don't even understand the situation, they just know that I share scans to the fandom.
Oh, and I get away with it all because I'm playing a character and therefore it doesn't matter what I say.
-- Just to let you know, I will be happily helping my roommate scan her Zerosums and Wards to share with the fandom without any mockery/rudeness/simpering suck-ups/unknown prizes-with-50-question-quizzes-that-are-based-on-personal-journal-knowledge-rather-then-questions-about-the-actual-fandom-we're-sharing scans-about required.

Oh, yes, of course, because that was your intent the entire time. Look, Sherlock, there is no reason to double up on scans if someone is already doing them so there is no need for anybody else to "get up off their ass". Now that we know YOU'RE an ass, we'll work around you.

If you aren't willing to take the time and energy to explore fandom and see if your "prizes" aren't already easily available, why should anyone else put in the time and effort to try and "win" them?
Of course, if you shared freely without making people jump through hoops, that wouldn't be a problem to begin with.
