He loved the New Order original. He would have loved the Orgy cover, had it been released a couple weeks sooner so he'd've had the chance to hear it.

Apocalyptica - The Unforgiven
In addition to being a huge Metallica fan, he also loved the odd and the offbeat. Apocalyptica, and their beginnings as a cello quartet rendering Metallica tunes, fit his tastes perfectly. Mom would tell him to turn 'that crap' down, with the Metallica? He'd pop this on instead. ^_^

Totally unrelated to any of that: solaas, I got the postcard you dropped in the mail yesterday! Thank you - it came at a time that really managed to cheer me up. ^_^

*shakes head* I have to laugh, in this household, that the grown man and the little boy are both hollering for me in tones of equal panic when stray spiders cross their path. How on earth did I end up the designated squasher of creepy-crawlies?

Eh. Whatever. So long as they're not roaches, and not big, I'll manage.
