Nataku meets his new neighbor...
...who does not seem particularly impressed.
*headdesks* He was mostly an impulse buy, too - or rather, the fact that I actually got him today was impulsive. The plan was to wait awhile, possibly set up a larger divided communal tank with an eye toward a nice little band of betta brothers this fall, perhaps. But I was at Walmart again today for like the third time, and browsing the fish for the second time (obsessive? Who, me? ^_^;), and he's one of the only two bettas on the display shelves who seems robust and healthy, and...he's white, with the grey-and-black, and...well. Here he is home with me. Eheh.
Keeping my fingers crossed that his health is not just an illusion. Nataku, after all, was also a Walmart fish and thus far is doing splendidand please don't let me have jinxed either of them just now by putting the sentiments into written words.
