...I love my car...
Jan. 30th, 2006 10:11 pmI've been driving my husband's Jeep Cherokee for a very long time, now. But today we switched for one reason or another and I got my Aztek back for a day. And oh, I'd forgotten how very nice it drives! I mean, yes I love the Jeep on principal simply for being a Jeep (and it goes waaay back to childhood, this Jeep-love - it's not just a Saiyuki thing! ^_^;); but it's a Cherokee after all and it's got a couple of issues besides and the Aztek just handles so beautifully! Sleek, and smooth, and soo responsive-- *sigh* I was sorely tempted to keep going past my exit, to head south on the coastal highway never mind the icy roads. Driving is so...so therapeutic, somehow. Especially when the car drives well, and especially when - best of all - the speaker system isn't blown yet. ^_^;
*glances around surreptitiously*
*pockets the keys*
I'm taking it tomorrow, too. Shhh.
AJ is giving me orders in musical terms, now. Apparently he's very into this show on Disney called Little Einsteins, that teaches a lot about music and musical terms. So instead of telling me he wants to go slow, he's telling me to go adagio. 'Adagio, Mom, I just like adagio. Not allegro.' ^_^ Hee. *is strangely proud*
I tried an instant-mix Chai Tea latte today, too. It's...I wish I could place the flavor, because it's hauntingly familiar somehow. It's a thin flavor, and aromatic, and tickles at something just beyond my conscious memory. Annoying as hell. But also very tasty.
