Yet *More* Nii/Kou Evidence!

Yes, I found more Nii/Kou hints in the manga! Not that they're difficult to find, really; but *this* particular hint is a minute obscure little detail that just put me in stitches.

Look in volume three, in the scene where Doku is discussing how he came to be in Kougaiji's service. The flashback frame, where Doku's saying something on the order of 'You hired me, no questions asked'--check out Kou. Not only does his outfit hint at his Reload attire (actually, it looks rather like he raided Goujun's closet), but...but--

(splutters into laughter)

Observe, our lovely prince's oh-so-stylish footwear--

(tries to hold a straight face)

He's wearing Nii's bunny slippers.

(collapses into a fit of mirth)

Oi, zalia - how far back in your LJ do I need to look for that request-ficlet featuring Hakkai, Hakuryu, and the line along the order of 'It's not a good idea to bite Sanzo'? I wanted to read again and rec it out; but sadly am finding that I somehow didn't bookmark it... >_

...I can't help laughing. While all the usual suspects were fighting over the muses, *Goku*--of all people--snuck in under the radar and kidnapped them. And he brought Sanzo along for the ride...
