...Is it wrong to completely and utterly destroy a five-year-old in a game of Yu-Gi-Oh under pretense of teaching him a lesson about good sportsmanship?

If so, then I am a bad, bad mommy. T_T

In my defense, he's a right cocky little f*cker and better that I should take the wind out of his sails every now and then than other kids at school when he starts in the fall? Kids are horrible. Cruelest creatures on earth, imho.

Though, to assuage my guilty conscience be fair, I did try to help him strategize a bit halfway through the duel. I don't know how much of it sinks in, but...if he can grasp all the frigging rules to this bloody game, I'd think he can grasp at least a basic sense of strategy, too. I hope.

Anyway.

Much much much much has gone down on the work-front this week. Major much-ness, that would be too much to get into now when I've been at work all day anyway and the five-year-old mentioned above would still like to play.

*salutes*

*ducks out*

It is your solemn duty to destroy a five y.o. (especially your own) at any game you possibly can - you must also remember and treasure these times, you will need some solace when they get to be teenagers! :) Parenting seems to involve a lot of deflating and inflating of your kids - shame they don't come with a working self-reguating valve (or an instruction manual).
