Quite awhile back, I promised 'Saiyuki Music' to
tad_coast. I've also been promising the same to my friend back home for...eheh. Even longer. Thus. It's high time I get to it, ne? Done here in case anyone else would be interested as well. ^_^;

Vocal Tracks, sung by the seiyuu
Random from Saiyuki Vocal and/or Image Albums (I don't have whole albums, sorry!)
Toshi, Hirata - Bad Friends (aka Sanzo and Gojyo: The Boy-Band Years)
Toshi, Hoshi, Hirata - Blow Winds (Sanzo, Goku, Gojyo)
Toshi, Hoshi, Hirata - Junk Boys (Sanzo, Goku, Gojyo)
Toshi, Hoshi - Treasure (a Sanzo & Goku duet)
Ishida Akira - Knight of Midnight (aka A Practical Demonstration in Why Hakkai Does Not Sing *cringes*) ETA: I'm now told this is not in fact a Saiyuki song at all, so bear that in mind. ^_^
Kusao Takeshi - Stiff Breeze (Kougaiji)
Saiyuki Reload Vocal Album Volume I
Toshi, Hoshi, Hirata - Waymarks (Sanzo, Goku, Gojyo)
Hoshi Souichiro - Wing Area (Goku)
Hoshi, Hirata - There Is (a Goku & Gojyo duet)
Kusao Takeshi - Spirit (Kou)
Toshihiko Seki - Trigger (Sanzo)
Saiyuki Reload Vocal Album Volume 2
Hoshi Souichiro - Cherish (Goku)
Hirata Hiroaki - One Day (Gojyo)
Toshihiko Seki - Preparation (Sanzo)
Kusao Takeshi - Brave Soul (The best of Kou's songs that I've heard, imho)
Toshi, Hoshi, Hirata - Destination (Sanzo, Goku, Gojyo)
And, because everyone should hear this at least once:
Manabu Enuma - Bunny Doll (Nii Jienyi image song (not sung by Ohtsuka Houchu))
If you're looking for the four character songs from the Saiyuki Requiem movie, you can find them here (if they don't dL with info attched, holler at me and I can provide tagging info). One song for each of the boys, including Hakkai (he speaks over a musical track, instead of singing).
Translations for several of the songs can be found here, as well as translations for the omake/drama tracks. If anyone's looking for those, btw (they run from mildly amusing to rolling-on-the-floor hilarious), holler at me and I'll get them up as well. Sanzo singing karaoke, Hakkai asleep behind the wheel, and Gojyo dancing naked for the others are my personal favorites.
I'm afraid that somehow, I don't have the opening song for Gunlock (WAG - Don't Look Back Again, I think it is). If anyone out there has it, would you mind sending it my way if it's not too much trouble? I'd be most appreciative. *bows humbly*
If I skipped any links, or mis-pasted any links, again, just holler. I will fix. ^_^

Date: 2006-10-08 08:26 pm (UTC)Oh thank god.Heh. Thank you. I hate to disseminate mis-information. It's hard to know what tagging info to trust when I'm not the one ripping the CD, and I always like to get it right. Would you happen to know where it is from?no subject
Date: 2006-10-08 08:38 pm (UTC)Akira's actually a better singer then Hoshi when you find his right tune. hehe. But he's too shy.

Date: 2006-10-10 05:35 am (UTC)Which is not Knight of Midnight, I daresay. I never thought that it suited his voice very well; if a person is shy about singing to begin with, then I'd definitely pair him with a simpler, stronger, less-complex piece than that. But that's just me.
I always thought it was a shame he doesn't sing much when his speaking voice is so utterly lovely.

Date: 2006-10-10 02:45 pm (UTC)There is a song he has for the girls-love game Haruka. I should upload it for you, he uses his deep voice there... very soothing.
