Minor Accomplishment-i-ness

Last week, in an effort to live life a little more as opposed to simply existing my way through it, husband and I stopped to investigate a music/book store that we happened to spot out doing errands. As it turns out, it's a very bohemian-new-age-y little place, most of the merchandise is used, and they offer trade options. When I saw that they had manga, I decided that maybe this would be the place to get rid of all these beginning volumes of series that I tried out but dropped for lack of interest/resonance.
Normally, I'd have that thought, and say to myself 'Yes, I should do that!' And never think of it again. Sloth being my sin of choice, after all, right next to Envy.
Since that's one of the habits I'm trying very hard to break, that doing-nothing-ness, I'm proud to say that today, I gathered up all those manga and a couple of books that I've no regrets for parting with, and took them in, and got a nice little chunk of store credit for them. Thus, I was able to treat myself to a couple of new CDs. System of a Down - Toxicity, and Keiko Matsui - Sapphire. Which I've got on right now. I'm thinking that I'll go back tomorrow and use the remaining credit to pick up her other CD that was there, because a) I'm really liking this CD and have liked what I've heard of her on smooth jazz radio for several years now, and b) it had a track called 'Kappa' on it. ^_^
