I had the boys in their little cups lined up while I cleaned their apartments - Nataku, then Goujun, then Konzen, then Mordred. Now, Nataku and Goujun pretty well ignored each other, and Konzen and Mordred did the same. Konzen and Goujun, though. Hee. They were ready to throw down. In turns.

See, Konzen went nuts first, flaring and billowing up against the side of his little cup, and Goujun just kind of stared, then turned away. A little later, though, when Goujun came back and flared up in turn? Konzen decided he couldn't be bothered. They went back and forth this way the whole time they were out of the tanks, and only once were they actually displaying at each other properly.

Heh. Thank you. I designed it after...uhm. I hesitate to say 'spiritual' experience, but...it was this whole thing I had about a month and a half ago, driving, alone, the rain and the wind and the sea and stuff and...erh. ^_^; It probably sounds pretty lame as it's coming out, especially when I'm not really explaining anything. I had wanted to post about it, and made the icon for the post, and...well, the post is still un-written. Eheh. Though there are bits of the thoughts gathering in a draft somewhere. ^_^;

*snickers* Love the fishpics - all of them - and the cute little incidents. I admit to being a lax fishmommy recently - I mean, I've been away from my boys for a month, and coming back to them, they seem...unfamiliar. I don't know what's weird, whether it's me or them, but whatever. I'm proud of your little brood - so many now! ♥ And glad to hear they're all doing well, especially with noneating/tail rip issues. ^___^ Keep me posted!

Mi madre. Dad helped too, I hear. They were both very skeptical of the allure of "simply feeding the damn fish" when I left; when I got picked up, they both wanted to babble about how Pinto chews really loudly and how Phinneas is a little senile old man.

*shrug* They really fell for 'em, not that I'm surprised. ^^ They got used to them, though, and Mom kept saying things like "I don't know if they're happy, I don't play with them like you do..." Which, me being in CA, did nothing but concern me. *shrug* Maybe they're actually just the same and I'm different, I don't know.
