Yay for pumpkins!

Our apartment building disallows trick-or-treating within the building, and our balcony railing thingy is solid and we're above ground level so that any pumpkin we put in the window can't be seen by anyone outside, but that doesn't stop Tav and I from buying a bag of mini chocolate bars, carving a pumpkin, and dressing up each year (and dressing up the pets). We haven't got our pumpkin (or chocolate) yet, though, and probably won't carve the pumpkin until the weekend before Hallowe'en so it doesn't go bad.

Mmm, Angelina Jolie is indeed very very sexy, and I say that as someone primarily attracted to guys and androgynous people. Still, for all this quiz talks about seeing if straight girls and gay men also buy into the media hype, I didn't see a whole lot of difference in shapes when I took the quiz, except for some artificially large looking spheres spilling out of some of those bikinis.

Most of the time I chose who seemed the most "attractive" based on who was wearing the least-painful looking string contraption (and of course I often have a bias towards the androgynous except for a few stunning exceptions like Jolie), which gave me results of 18% Big Breasts, 36% Big Ass, and 76% Cute. And then it told me "Relatively, you are less attracted to round, soft, sloppy women." I take great offense at the idea that curves = sloppy. Grr. And not many of those "curvy" women looked "soft" what with the visible ribcage, either.

Mm, pumpkins indeed. Not so fond of eating them, but I love that fresh raw-pumpkin smell. Mostly because of the Halloween associations, I'm sure. I love carving 'em up. I'm simple, though. I'd go for a classic jack-o-lantern face with a votive candle inside, but my husband picked up one of those carving sets with the stencils for doing semi-fancy pictures and glow-sticks for the insides so we went that route instead. *shrugs* We've got another to hopefully do tonight.

And I love dressing up. Haven't done it in far too long, sadly. It feels kind of pointless when I'm not going anywhere, but now I do take AJ trick-or-treating so I have a reason again! Just...haven't gotten to it. Hmm. I found out last year that the labcoat I was gifted with back in highschool doesn't quite fit anymore (of course), so that's out...meh. I could probably come up with something before th 31st, even if it's only gothy clothing and black makeup. Not much point in going to the effort and expense of an anime cosplay when there's no one who'd appreciate it...

Anyway. Sexy women. Yeah, the quiz didn't offer much, or much variety. Obviously-artificial enhancements are just not generally very attractive. Natural almost always looks better, no matter the size. On the whole, I actually find various body types attractive on either gender. I say 'find attractive' because my husband has Issues with my saying 'attracted to' when simply looking at a woman (or a man) incites no lust in me. *rolls eyes* Never has, though. Except once. One guy, once upon a time, could incite me to lust just from the watching of him. Axl Rose, for the record, in specific bits of various Guns N Roses video. ^_^; But. That was one instance from my entire life. Most times when I look at a person, it's just an aesthetic appreciation for their form and the beauty of the human body. Jolie is sexy, without a doubt, though I honestly think more of her face than anything else. I like petite men and women. I like tall men and women. I like athletic hard-bodied men and women, with just enough muscle to show without going to body-building extremes. *shudders* I like masculine and/or boyish women and effeminate men. Androgyny can be incredibly sexy. I also like women with the looks and shapes lauded in classical paintings and statues. Shape and curves look good, not 'sloppy'. Damn media standards of 'beauty'. Ribcages and bony shoulderblades and sharp elbows aren't quite my thing. I just don't find that stick-figure supermodel look attractive. Gah.

And yes, I like big asses! *would start playing Sir Mix-a-lot if I had it, darn the luck* ^_^
