What kind of books do you read?
Manga, mostly. ^_^; I have hardly touched 'real' books since I left Arizona. Recently I picked up a copy of Good Omens, read several chapters over the course of a couple weekends, and have yet to use any of my free time in getting back to it. But there's all kinds of things I keep thinking I should read, mostly in sci-fi, fantasy and supernatural genres.
What's your occupation?
IT...stuff. Official title is Help Desk, but all of us in the dept do help desky stuff and all of us do other stuff, too, with workstation/user setup and various networky tasks and stuff. I'm just the one with the least amount of know-how and experience, which is of course why I'm currently in school for a Networking degree.
What's really creepy?
Well, more 'scary' than 'creepy', but self-righteous religious zealotry and far-right-conservative politics, especially when they go hand-in-hand as happens all too often.
Who is your celebrity crush?
I really don't crush on celebrities. Fictional characters, sure, to an extent, but not celebrities. Though, I suppose, the level of squee I get up to over Ishida Akira and his melt-in-your-mouth-sexy voice leans somewhat in that direction - 'celebrity' being subject to individual interpretation, and such.
What's your current fandom/obsession/addiction?
I'm sort of between obsessive fixations, right now. The last couple things I did obsessive ficsearch/reading over (Garak/Bashir and Lee/Gaara) have slacked off back to normal-type fandom levels; GW is regaining a foothold in my brain but Saiyuki still pretty much holds center stage in my fannish life.
What are you listening to right now?
An alphabetical listing of all the songs on my iPod whose titles start with 'D' in pursuit of another meme. At the moment I covered this question, it was at The Cure's 'Disintegration'.
What food could you eat every day for weeks and not get sick of?
I doubt the whole 'not get sick of' bit - anything repeated daily for weeks will get tiresome - but, possibly, broccoli. Especially with pasta and chicken and alfredo sauce. Or Beef and Broccoli - that's awfully good too.
What websites do you always visit when you go online?
Gmail and Livejournal. Within any given month I regularly hit various banking and bill-pay sites.
What are you going to do next year?
School. Work. The usual.

What's one of your dorkiest habits?
Purring at certain models of Jeep when they're spotted. It's...sort of a roundabout story as to how it became habit. ^_^;
Favorite kink?
Heh. In real-life context? I'm incredibly vanilla; the couple things that come to mind would qualify more as fetishes (and fairly tame, at that) than kinks. But in fictional context? I have to go with broad-spectrum xenokink. Tails, scales, claws and talons (especially on the toes), wings, fangs, horns, pointed ears, tentacles, fur, fins, gills, heightened sense of smell, variable form - even tamer, more reality-based xeno-themes like cross-cultural or interracial relationships - it's all good. I'm incredibly fond of other-than-human and cross-species encounters - especially starring Goujun or Hakuryuu, even Youkai-Hakkai to a lesser extent; if I ever delve into writing Garak/Bashir myself you can bet I'll be envisioning Cardassian anatomy in reptilian-based terms. I'm also a sucker for bloodplay, particularly in line with this cross-species other-than-human kink, though straight-up vampirism is perfectly appealing too. And an extra note on the tentacles - CONSENSUAL tentacles, mind, and especially botanical tentacles. Plant-based consensual tentacle porn is a rare and tasty treat. ^_^

Do you want to learn another language?
Abso-frickin-lutely. Who doesn't? Er. Plenty of people, I'm sure. But. I love language, English or otherwise, breaking it down into how-it-works elements, etymology, nuances of pronunciation and meaning and such. I've formally studied three other languages - that's how I know I like it - and would ideally like to get back to at least one of them, maybe officially take up Japanese to contextualize what I glean via fandom as well, build it into a proper knowledge-and-understanding. And find some excuse to stay in practice, also, so as not to lose what's been gained. There tends to be study of culture that comes along with study of language, and a sense of connecting with something bigger/different than oneself that makes one feel part of a global community, perhaps, instead of just...god, this is starting to sound pretentious. Ahem. ^_^;; I love learning other languages. It's fun, exciting, and satisfying.
