Heading off the Blues

As post-con blues try to set in, I'm finding there's very little that's more depressing than sitting in the empty hotel room after friends have gone. I'll be heading down to catch the SFO shuttle shortly, but in the meantime, since we paid for this internet access I'm damn well gonna use it. Full report and pics later to later-ish; for now:

^_^ The Hakkai in this pic is ChoHakkaiFan (I forget how exactly she does her lj username), who's been doing the Burial fansubs. I asked about part 3; she said it's been done and is up on YouTube but there are problems she still needs to fix before it will be downloadable, but it will be announced on saiyuki_media when it's all done and ready.

Squee! So adorable. ^_^ Awesome Gaara cosplay, and she was very sweet about the pics. I finally managed to track her down late Sunday afternoon (I carried that plushie EVERYWHERE all weekend just in case) and sat through a whole panel of semi-amusing fanperson inanity just to ask for this pic. ^_^;

This weekend has been awesome; while I'm sad to see it over, I won't deny that it'll be good to get home. The whole back-to-everyday-RL thing, though - that's a bit of a different story. ^_^;
