Can't much visit you, being 3700 miles too far north and all, but still. I think a lot lately about where my life might have gone different if you hadn't died, and wonder if maybe I didn't tend to lean on you more than perhaps I ought to pull myself out of the shadows. Thank you for that.
...I should break out our old recipe for 'bloodwine', perhaps, in honor of the date. Alas, I don't know (can't recall?) any Klingon toasts. Kanpai, then? Something tells me you'd appreciate that, were you still around.
