TJ, Incapacitated
Oct. 25th, 2005 08:21 pmSo. Nearly five years up here, and I finally have my first major personal-injury-thanks-to-ice. Except it wasn't ice. Only a bare glittering of frost on the concrete steps. And my too-worn no-traction slicker-than-snot-to-borrow-my-mother's-turn-of-phrase shoes. Combined with quarter to eight being Too F*cking Early in the morning to report for a payroll conference downtown, thankyouverymuch.
Anyway. Wrenched my ankle, and wrenched it good. Jeff says it's swollen. I can't tell. It does hurt, though, I must say. Have iced it, and wrapped it, and borrowed my mother-in-law's cane. I'm hobbling about feeling very much like House and about as grumpy, to boot.
I may need to have a doctor look at this in the morning.
'Less of course we've got any long-distance chi-healers in the audience...?

*dramatic sigh of disappointment* Damn the luck, then.
I've not been on LJ nor email in the past couple days. Don't really expect to be any time soon, either. I do hope everyone's doing well; if anything important comes along, please do throw a link my way. I appreciate it.
