Ahh, the weekend...

Wow, your plots are actually pretty
original...we're not sure we know how to make
fun of you.

Ahhh...good! I was actually expecting the smutty-plot result... ^_^
And, as an aside: That TenKen piece I did a little while back, 'Four-Letter Silences' - the final version is here. Not that it's changed much, but...meh.
My Nii-Kou crackfic now reads from start to finish. (bounces happily) This thing came along so quickly. It still needs a bit of work to touch up a couple of spots and a beta before it's ready to post, but the biggest chunk of the work is done. And my other more serious Nii-Kou fic is out with the beta right now, so hopefully I can be posting it within the next couple of weeks.
My first day officially supervising the other three members of the accounting staff went quite smoothly. For which I am glad. Unlike yesterday. Which involved the discovery of $50 missing from the petty cash box, on top of last month's $20 missing, so in light of $70 now unaccounted for, we decided to change the combo on the box and the combo on the safe. Unfortunately, not knowing how to do either, we fumbled. In the course of trying to figure out how to change the combo on the lockbox, my boss inadvertently changed it without knowing it and re-locked. So we now it was either play with random codes until we found the right one or break into the box. As it turns out, our office handyman was able to do both, repair the box after popping the rivets, and save us the cost of replacing. ^_^ And then on the matter of the safe, after futzing around with instructions that just didn't make any sense (and didn't work for me, either), I finally discovered that the instruction manual I was working from was not the instruction manual for our safe. And no one knew where the right one was. So we were back to square one. And all thoroughly amused, too, as it had been a relatively good day. I'd hate to have had it all happen on a bad day.
Anyway. Done rambling. Yesh. Must go fix dinner. (salutes and strides out)
