Dear god, my mind is going. Fast.

I just had an argument with AJ. Something to do with Santa Claus and how soon he's coming and whether or not he knows where to find AJ. ^_^ The three-year-old brain...(shakes head) Anyway. I forget precisely how we came to it, but AJ fires off at me with his little fists clenched and little stomp of his foot that 'Mo~om! You just don't *understand*!' (of course, it was more like 'un-stan', but hey) So I hauled out the 'You're three and I'm an adult and I understand anything you want to throw at me' line of reasoning, except that I went. 'Okay. You're three. I'm--' And I stopped dead. Thought, hard. Went *fuck* to myself, and spent a good minute standing there trying to remember if I'm 28 already or just turning 28 week after next.

AJ, meanwhile, lost interest in the argument and wandered off to play with his trains.

Dude. I can't believe I forgot how old I am...(slinks away to search for grey hairs and pluck them before they can siphon off any more of my brain functions)
