Okay. The chick on the radio this morning was discussing various celebrity gossip, and she pulled out a news item about Antonio Banderas having been spotted at a Shrek 2 premiere holding hands with Justin Timberlake. She went on to lament about the sex appeal of Antonio Banderas being forever ruined for her...

Now maybe it's just 'cause I'm a yaoi-slash fangirl, but...I really don't see the problem, y'know? Sexy steamy-hot Latino man holding hands with pretty-ish boy-band darling...(shrugs) If you ask me, the appeal-meter on *both* of them just got a massive boost. Though I'm still not much of a Timberlake fan.

Now, if I could believe that the two of them holding hands in public (assuming this is a legitimate sighting, of course) actually *meant* something in the way of romantic involvement, I'd be one *very* hyper fangirl...

On a different note, I'm needing a little Saiyuki detail verification:

When Hakkai & Kanan were together, he was a school teacher of some sort, yes? I've seen a few fics that give that indication, and I know the anime at least has him dropping a line about being with his students when she was kidnapped etc; but I haven't heard/seen anything official that comes straight out and says 'Hakkai was a teacher'. So I'm pretty sure it's safe to make passing reference to his teaching days in writing my fic, but just in case I thought I should double-check...Windy? Zalia? Is there crucial backstory that I'm missing?
