Thanks, everyone, for the hugs. They're appreciated. Honestly, I feel a lot...nicer...after writing all the stuff about my brother out. It's like...it's this black mood that comes around for a little while twice a year, and the rest of the time it's just fond memories. And it feels...I guess it's like now I feel satisfied that I've given him more of the memorial I wanted to, something more fitting for him than the eulogy my older brother & I did at the funeral. I'm in a pretty damn good mood today. But my moods have a tendency to bounce, anyway. So...(shrug) On to business:

Tsuno: (glomps madly) 'These Wings of Mine' is back?? (kisses soundly) I *love* you! Sadly, I'm no help in the research department; but I can't tell you how exciting it is to hear that 'Wings' is back on the table! (dances a happy jig)

Raven: So you've seen the full version of my Trowa from the icon, hm? (lecherous wink) Glad you like. Hm...mebbe I should post the link to it up here, just for kicks. And, before I forget - (glomps a fellow DemonDiaries fan) Hell *yes* Eclipse is sexy! Drop-dead melt-in-your-mouth unholy unearthly *gorgeous*, he is. I love that dark beauty. And the robe that looks like it'll blow right off him with just the right breath of wind... And Raenef is just so adorably pretty...that top-knot ponytail is too cute. I love the way they play off one another. They're a beautiful match. The pics where Eclipse is watching over Raenef while he sleeps, and the pics where Raenef has fallen asleep and fallen over on Eclipse...I just love the sappy shounen-ai perfection of those. I love the manga. I love the shounen-ai-ness in the first couple volumes. Vol 3 seemed to kinda back off it a little, but it's still there. Can't wait for vol 4! I've got such an urge to write something for those two, but it's kinda weird to me to do that when I don't know where the story's going or how it ends. I'll probably end up with an irresistible plot bunny nonetheless, though. And in the meantime, I've gotta go looking for vol 4 of Fake this wkd...

Inyx: Eagerly counting the days 'til you get your own comp & your online identity back! (points above at Raven) She wants the sequel to 'I'll Never' & 'Peeping Tom', and she's probably not the only one. The muses are just itching to be let out of the closet...Chester is pestering me to get started on your birthday pic. I think I'm doing the Wufei companion piece to last year's Tro...^_~ And I think Heero's finally resigning himself to the loss of the saddle. Which means you & yours will have to be keeping that yak, I'm afraid...

In other news, I'm making progress on chapter 9 of Lost & Found, and I hope to have it finished before the story hits 2 years in the making come December. It'd be great if I could get the epilogue done before then, too, and then I can get started on the side-fic lemon. And finish the 5x3x2 that I started last year and haven't been able to wrap up yet because it keeps developing more and more plot on me...but hey, that's a good thing.

And on a meteorological note, the leaves 'round here are simply gorgeous at the moment. Very pretty autumn. And it's not *too* cold yet, and there hasn't been any more snow (crosses fingers to keep it that way), so I can't complain. And I've got my car back, now, since my husband's came out of the shop this morning. Carpooling has its perks, but it's great to be independent, too.
