*grins* Oh, corruption is a Very Good Thing, I think. This friend, see, she's the one who introduced me to 80's metal and rock music after I'd begun to discover alternative and showed me what I'd been missing out on all those years. Before she got hold of me (which was actually after we graduated, in '95), my musical diet consisted mostly of whatever pop was on the radio and Disney soundtracks. And a lot of Yanni, for which I do still have a deep appreciation. I also, unfortunately, remember a NKotB phase, a Michael Bolton phase, and a Mariah Carey phase. *shivers* Thankfully, they're long behind me. ^_^;
Hot humid weather is when cold showers feel the best. I remember the days when I'd bike to and from work all through the summers in Phoenix; I came home every day and went straight to the shower. Pure cold water. Felt better than anything. At the moment, though, I wouldn't be at all opposed if you wanted to shunt some of that heat up and over my way. The sun hasn't been out much lately; without it, it's just not very warm. To me, anyway. These crazy cold-addled Alaskans, though, they're still running around in shorts and tanks. And it's not much more than 55 degrees out there. -_-
