hehe. I remember Banditos being played a lot in the late 90s. ^_^ That was my community college DJ gig time, and i was one of the culprits. But the time it was at it's peak? The major alternative station down in Detroit latched onto it hard and so did i. It was on heavy rotation for a bit and eventually left hte airwaves. Now i it has that oo lovely quality to it. I remember being amused at the ST: TNG reference in it too. (and gods. GUITAR band. no wonder i was in love, i think this was my Everclear love period too.) You can tell i was pretty much post grunge for all it was worth in my case. Portishead, STP, Pearl Jam, all that lovely stuff that came out AFTER grunge faded a bit and the Kobain frenzy eased off.
Giving the other two tracks a listen too, since i didn't play the others much. I always did want to hear more from these guys and never had the chance.
Oh...i've heard Down Together! Don't ask me where, but i have! *dances* Wonder if it was the same Detroit station or the quirky canuck station across the river that did it?
