Delightfully Squicked

You know, I really ought to stop saying and thinking things like 'Such-and-such really squicks me' or 'I'd never write a such-and-such', etc. Because everytime I make such a claim or declaration, something invariably comes along later to disqualify the statement. Without fail. >_<

(headdesks) Crikey. If my mind keeps getting nudged open like this, sooner or later my brains are going to fall out.

And what does UST stand for, anyway?

*sweatdrops* '

Twas this fic (http://www.livejournal.com/users/kintail/11553.html). Which I quite enjoyed, and even recommend. As long as you read the warning. ^_^;

You're right. Squicky, yet still appealingly written. Yowza. I need to comment on that thing, yes i do.

Yes you do! I mean, please. ~_^

While I'm in a strangely talkative-and-social-not-to-mention-reccing mood:

Be sure to check out Dragons & Kami (http://www.livejournal.com/users/kintail/14134.html) and Tedious Maintenance (http://www.livejournal.com/users/kintail/15688.html), too. Unless of course you're not particularly keen on Goujun and Tenpou as a pair. Then never mind. ^_^;

Interesting speculations on the history of Dragons in the heavens of Minekura's Saiyukiverse, though.

...because Kiro is deviously clever that way. And I have to live with it! *grin*

anyway, um, this is mostly a gratuitous post to make myself stop lurking.

(laughs) Coincidentally, it also provides me an opportunity to let you know I'm working on feedback for 'Existential Diff.' and 'Breathe'. Which does take me a little while, as I'm trying to avoid the all-too-easy habit of comments like 'Wow that was good and I loved it' blah blah. (see, and by saying something about it now I'm obligating myself to follow through, making an effort against procrastination. Which really is a bad habit and one I need to improve if I want to go places in life)

Please forgive me for the rambling, also - I spent the afternoon on the receiving side of a career-coaching table and I'm afraid a great deal of that positive go-get-ish-ness is still clinging to me. Which is a good thing, all considered, I suppose, and...yes. Shutting up now. ^_^;

oh, cool, thank you! ^_^ yeah, I need to work on my commenting habits again. I used to really good at it when Crimson Ink was still alive and kicking, but... I think I wore myself out trying to comment on every fic that crossed the mailing list. >.< Because I was like that.

procrastination? yeah, know that one, too. evil gremlin that it is.
