Heh. I used to write on paper, rather than composing on a keyboard. My writing was pretty linear, then - one story at a time, start to finish. Now, though...I've got WIPs lying neglected all over the place and they're mostly in random chunks of whatever bit came to me at a particular moment that need to be properly strung together. Because it's easy to jump ahead or go back when you can just insert text without worrying about how many pages you're going to need in between this bit and that. *shrugs* But yeah. Don't feel bad if things just simmer on the back burners for awhile. It happens.

Hard to pull off decently, I would think

Quite. And I'm not sure I've got the knack for it, yet I've got a handful of 'em trying to be written regardless. *sigh*

And the kinkmeme prompt...egh. I may abandon the notion of trying to keep to the prompt altogether. Mention of Tenpou and his relationship with either one keeps trying to work in. I'm trying hard to avoid it on principle that whoever requested may not like their GouKen as a piece of the threesome. Which is one of the things that's causing me trouble - how and why would the two of them ever hook up, if not for Tenpou? Scenarios I've come up with feel cliched and very much like the bare-minimum 'plot' threads that string the average porno together. And it's very hard to keep them in character or closely resembling it when I don't buy into what I'm writing. I'm pleased with bits of what I've turned out so far, and Goujun keeps tugging at this to go in directions other than originally intended, so...yeah. It may have been inspired by the prompt, but I don't know that it's going to do much in the way of filling it, in the end.
