Music Post

Still working on the responses for the meme last post. In the meantime:

A small sampling of some of my favorite voices; it's a post I've been 'planning' for awhile finally moved to action by the release of Linkin Park's new album. Some of these I'm sure some of you out there already have, but they're up regardless. Also, this is by no means an exhaustive list nor even an extensive one of all the voices I like; these are just the top handful. ^_^

*sigh*

Soo. Today was blocked out for hosting one of the nephews' birthday party. It started instead with an emergency trip to the medical clinic with a husband who woke up with his throat swollen so bad he could hardly swallow. It's Strepp, yay! -_-x *over-doses on vitamin c* He and AJ have been going back and forth with sick, every couple of days. And now this. Our Memorial Day weekend camping trip is looking less and less solid the closer we get. The weather'll probably be crap next weekend, anyway, never mind how utterly gorgeous it's been yesterday and today. We topped 60F, finally, and the trees are all sprinkled in green and it's after 8pm Sunday evening and the sun's blazing high and warm and perfect and oh, how I do not want to go back to work tomorrow!

But. Will think positively. After all, even tending to a sick baby husband, the nephew-birthday-thing came off pretty well. AJ's been fever-less for the past...four days, now, and his nose is starting to clear up. Hubby's on meds and will probably be fine by next weekend. I've only got three days of work and far too much to get done in those three days, and then starting Thursday I'm taking a week off. It'll all work out fine in the end, one way or another.

My little Zakuro is still not well, either, and I don't know what to do for him. I tried the whole feeding-the-inside-of-a-pea thing, but I really don't know that he's eaten any of it. I'm worried, in the back of my head, even though he's still swimming and bobbing around every morning (however impaired), and afraid I might end up losing him. *sigh*

In the meantime, I keep an ear tuned for kid, an ear tuned for the other kid aka the husband, and continue happily working away on the pseudo-canon meme thingy. It's turned out to be quite fun.
